CULTURE Music MUSIC COLUMBUS CENTRE SCHOOL OF MUSIC The Columbus Centre School of Music is committed to the development and diffusion of music both within the Italian– Canadian community and the community at large. Our music school gives students the opportunity to explore their musical passion. Our instructors have a breadth of musical periods, genres and varied teaching techniques. Our instructors cater to each individual interest, whether the aim is for leisurely fun or for preparation for the Royal Conservatory of Music and school- entry exams. LESSONS We offer adult and children’s private lessons in: • Brass (e.g. Trumpet, Horn) • Piano • Voice • Violin • Woodwind • Theory (e.g. Clarinet, Flute) • Drums / Percussion • Guitar (Classical and electric) SPECIAL FEATURES > Two Music Recitals REGISTRATION Registration is complete when the registration form and payment have been received and processed by the Arts, Youth & Culture Department. Lessons will not begin until registration is complete. Spring and Summer Registration is ongoing. Payments must be re-submitted within 48 hours. Our music programs are full year and run from September – June. Payments are accepted in full or in 3 installments. DISCOUNTS • 5% discount on additional siblings. • 5% multiple instrument discount if taking two or more instruments. Discounts cannot be combined. REFUND POLICY Full year registrants (music private lessons): Tiered refund policy (before fourth lesson). Inquire for full details. The Arts, Youth & Culture department reserves the right to change program dates, times, rooms and instructors during the year.
