Art NEW! PLEIN AIR WORKSHOPS Join us outdoors “En Plein Air”, with professional artist and Columbus Centre’s seasoned art instructor Sam Paonessa. Spend a day at the Columbus Centre painting a special Italian-themed still life. With a focus on watercolour painting, pen drawing and sketching, Sam will demonstrate, provide helpful instruction, individual attention and constructive critique. Students will need to bring their own materials and easels. Includes: A one-hour demo by instructor, a one-hour lunch break, and a full day of painting outdoors. These workshops are recommended for participants with some previous experience. Note: If we cancel due to poor weather conditions, we will transfer you to our next Plein Air Workshop or provide a full refund. Through different materials and styles, students will learn tonal value, perspective, portraiture and still life, along with both fundamental and expressive drawing and painting techniques to create well rounded and creative projects.
