Diamondprox

Top 10 All-TIme Best Western LoL Players

Rui Yang Xu

Danil “Diamondprox” Reshtinikov is, without question, the best jungler in the West. In the beginning, Diamondprox was only platinum elo (pro players are either diamond I elo or higher), but with the coaching of legendary mid laner Alex Ich, he quickly rose to became one of the best junglers in the world. He became an innovator of jungling with his revolutionary counter jungling style and his usage of the champion Sejuani and Karma. But what truly made Diamondprox so feared and respected by players worldwide was his uncanny synergy with Alex Ich. Apart from team accomplishments, he also has his fair share of personal achievements. He was named MVP of the Season Two European Regional Finals, IEM Season VI - Global Challenge Kiev, and IEM Season VIII - Cologne Pro Tournament. He also placed second in the Season Three All Stars 1v1 Tournament, beating the likes of Clearlove and Saintvicious, and only losing to Insec (who was considered the best Lee Sin at that time) in a Lee Sin mirror match. Now that Alex Ich has left the team and Gambit (what Moscow Five is now called) is full of new faces, it’s up to Diamondprox to carry on the legacy of Moscow Five and bring them back to their former glory.

Top 10 Worst Gaming Communities

While eSports is an exciting, upcoming form of entertainment, there are still many problems with eSports and its fans. The main problem with these fans is their constant need to insult others for not playing a role like how their favorite player is playing it, even if that way wasn’t the best option. While this may seem normal in terms of the toxic attitudes of most players, it does become a problem once these fans start playing the game in a strange way that doesn’t work, merely copying their favorite player despite having no actual knowledge as to how it works. In League of Legends eSports, there is the term “niened”, which refers to Zach “Nientonsoh” Malhas who was the top laner for the team Counter Logic Gaming. After a meltdown against Team Solo Mid and an overall disappointing season for the team, Nientonsoh was attacked by die-hard fans. This led to him stepping down as the top laner and the term “niened” was created. While there hasn't been another case of a player being "niened", there have been close calls with players such as Shin "Seraph" Wooyeong (another top laner for Counter Logic Gaming) and Maurice "Amazing" Stückenschneider. As long as this behavior exist, the eSports scene will never be seen in a positive light.

Super Smash Bros

Top 10 3DS Games

SUPER. SMASH. BROTHERS. This game, oh boy this game. If you see me during my spare block, I’m most likely on my 3DS playing this game. Whenever I have spare time, I’m probably playing this game. What started out as a fan service game has become a rather well-respected fighting game, combining the Nintendo universe with famous characters from other franchises. Players pick one of over 50 different characters, each with their own unique traits, and battle each other. You get to hit Donkey Kong’s face, or Falcon Punch™ that Mario that tried to taunt you.  It’s really easy to get into as a casual gamer, and the competitive scene for Smash is amazing as well. It’s chaotic. It’s destructive. Most of all, it’s FUN.  And while it's not going to be as exciting and fast paced as Melee, Smash 4 is a fantastic addition to the series, and I’m so glad that they made it available on the portable 3DS.
