Snow White got a ten because she was a ten, she won the best because she was the best, and she landed a prince because she acted like a true princess.

Now I’m wide aware this much loved story is fictional so allow me to travel us back to a reality that far outweighs this sentimental fairy-tale. Let us turn our eyes solely onto Jesus for a minute.

If we desired the Prince of Peace to enter our lives, sooth our souls and become our One True Love, we in turn had to take up Heavens dress code and change into something that would honourably declare us as His priceless princesses. Am I right?

If we wanted to take up His offer of love that ‘neither death nor life, neither angles nor demons, neither the present nor future, nor any powers will be able to ever separate us from' (Romans 8:38-39), we had to leave behind the selfish, prideful, hateful and shameful paths we once trailed on and walk onto His brand new one. If we wanted forgiveness and a clean slate at life again, we had to repent for our sins, accept him into our troubled hearts and allow him to cleanse our bodies, bandage our wounds, wipe away our tears and set us free from the enemy’s chains. If we wanted to live happily forever after with our prince Jesus we needed to allow Him to make us glistening princesses He could proudly show off to His beloved Kingdom someday.
