GSSNE is excited to gather together to commemorate 100 years of Girl Scouting within our council
with a council-wide bridging!
We are kicking off National Bridging Week on Saturday, May 4th at Lincoln Woods State Park (Field E). This family event will be filled with activities including a BYOP (Bring Your Own Picnic), field games, a
Girl Scout sing-a-long and more! The official bridging ceremony will involve bridging Girl Scouts walking the beautiful pedestrian bridge. Girl Scouts will perform the flag ceremony, participate in the bridging ceremony, and be recognized for their Girl Scout accomplishments.
All Girl Scouts and their families can attend the event, including both bridging and non-bridging troops. Register your troop or Girl Scout today by clicking here!
All girls who are bridging in
2019 are invited to participate
in the ceremony and will
receive a certificate and
Girl Scout “Keys to Success”.
All Girl Scouts and their
families can participate in the
activities. The bridging
ceremony will be exclusively
for bridging Girl Scouts.
