New Staff

Emily Howe, Membership and

Community Development Specialist

Emily is joining our staff at GSSNE as the newest

team player for the membership team. Emily is a native Rhode Islander, hailing from Cranston; just ask her how much she loves Hot Wieners and pizza strips (which she eats for breakfast on a regular basis). Before joining the Girl Scout team she worked at the Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless. Emily is excited to be a part of Girl Scouts and loves spreading the word about Girl Scouting, and accredits this to being a Girl Scout herself. Emily is a mom of 2 wild little ones, and is married to a very accommodating city-loving husband who now lives in the suburbs. You can often find her chasing their kids around the yard with an iced coffee from Dunkin' in hand or relaxing by their pool eating ice cream from Newport Creamery.

Jordan Donofrio,

Membership Services Specialist

Jordan might be new to the GSSNE team, but she is no stranger to Girl Scouts. She was an active Girl Scout for almost a decade and is now a

Girl Scout Mom! A Rhode Island native, Jordan graduated with her degree in Psychology with a heavy focus in business & women’s studies from Rhode Island College before taking some time off to spend with her growing family. When the opportunity came along for a position with GSSNE, Jordan could not pass it up. She has a passion for empowering young girls to fearlessly carve their own paths and to her, there was no better way to mix business with that passion. Jordan lives in Cranston with her longtime boyfriend John and their two daughters Ella and Chloe. When she isn’t at GSSNE or helping at events and cookie booths for her daughter’s troop, Jordan is most likely at her local yoga studio finding her inner zen.
