RINK RENTALS ROOM RENTAL Main and Studio rinks are available for parties, hockey or broomball (broomball is played on the Studio Rink only). Ice may be reserved in person with a 50% deposit or over the phone with a credit card. The Multi-Purpose Room contains a small party/meeting space (accommodates 40 with refrigerator, sink, microwave and washroom) and a larger open space (accommodates 100), which are both ADA accessible. Rental can be made by the hour—with or without ice rental—with a 50% deposit. Fun > Friendships > Fitness The Glenview Ice Center Skate School is a United Skates Figure Skating program. Called the LEARN TO SKATE USA program, it is the best beginning and continuing ice skating program that serves the needs of both recreational and competitive skaters. Spring Figure Skating Classes: February 26-May 12 (10 weeks) Figure skating classes will not meet during Spring Break, March 26-31. FIGURE SKATING PRACTICE ICE Practice ice for figure skaters is offered in the form of Freestyle sessions. Skaters walk on and pay as they go. Practice ice schedules, policies and forms are available at the Ice Center and at glenviewicecenter.org. PRIVATE LESSONS All of our experienced figure skating professionals at the Glenview Ice Center teach private lessons. All instructors are CERC certified through LEARN TO SKATE USA. For more information, call 847-724-2800. Note: Instructor approval is required for all Basic 2 and higher classes. Children must successfully complete prior level class before advancing to the next level. The Skating Director and instructional staff will evaluate skaters as to the level they may skate. Please be aware that your child may not automatically advance to the next level after one session. 45 TH ANNUAL ICE SHOW • “CHALK IT UP” May 18-19 – 7 pm • May 20 – 2 pm Colorful costumes, rockin’ music and memorable performances by skaters from our figure skating and hockey programs.
