Blazer Baseball Season Standings and Updates

This year’s baseball season is going great. This team works hard and accomplishes a lot through their teamwork as well as their work effort. Watching them play is something so many have began to enjoy. They are currently undefeated in conference and have big plans for the rest of the season. They play their first game of the state tournament on May 10th. If they win, they advance to the semifinals on Saturday, May 11th. If they win that game, they will play in the finals at Baum Stadium on Saturday, May18th. Valley View head baseball coach, Josh Allison, says “We’re not worried about winning the season, we’re worried about winning the day.” The Blazers plan to not worry about the things in the future and work on the task at hand. They believe all focus should be on the game coming up next and not so much of the games ahead. “We’ll worry about State Championship when we get there. Right now, we are just making sure we dominate our next competition,” says Junior Outfielder Sam Fagan. The Blazers are on a roll, winning both a District Championship and Regional Championship. The blazers still believe that their season is not finished, and will not be finished until they meet in a dog pile in Baum Stadium.
