2018 Destination CLE: Maui
February in North Dakota is COLD.
It seems Fargo attorney Aubrey Zuger
had a good idea February 2018 would be
exceptionally cold, and thought it would
be great to arrange a combination of CLE
and sun in Maui, Hawaii. Sixteen attorneys
traveled from Fargo, Minot, Grand Forks,
and Mayville, along with one attorney
traveling from Italy.

learn updates in the areas of law,
which intersect with my practice.
The lectures gave informative
overviews for areas such as probate,
trust, bankruptcy, family law, and
controversial issues like social media.

Presenters included Peter Zuger, Brett
Brudvik, Lynn Slaathaug Moen, DeAnn
Pladson, Aubrey Zuger, Todd Zimmerman,
John Williams, Roger Minch, and Charles
DeMakis. The sessions included law firm
management; social media; real estate,
business, and trust issues in family law;
modern trusts; bankruptcy; and probate
process and procedures.
February 2019 could be pretty cold again.
Keep the 2019 Destination CLE in Costa
Rica in mind. Information will be available
this summer.
