Marie H . Ruettgers Named Partner and Managing Attorney of Goosmann Law Firm – Sioux Falls
Marie H . Ruettgers has been named partner and managing attorney of the Goosmann Law Firm ’ s Sioux Falls location . Ruettgers practices in commercial litigation and employment law litigation and advises clients on human resources and cyber liability issues . She also works with individuals and companies in the growing field of cyber law and is an accomplished professional responsibility attorney who helps both professionals and the public understand if licensing obligations have been met .
Ruettgers joined the Goosmann Law Firm in 2014 and played a vital role in the growth and development of the firm ’ s Sioux Falls location . She brought extensive South Dakota experience to the firm , as she previously worked as an Assistant United States Attorney in Pierre , S . D . Ruettgers also worked as a law clerk to Chief Justice Gilbertson on the South Dakota Supreme Court .
She received her juris doctor from the University of South Dakota School of Law where she later became a legal writing professor . Ruettgers has years of management and human resource experience working in the health care industry . She is licensed in South Dakota , Iowa , and North Dakota and admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Districts of Northern Iowa , South Dakota , and North Dakota .
Larson Receives Recognitions
The National Board of Trial Advocacy ( NBTA ) recently announced Mark V . Larson of Larson Law Firm , PC , in Minot successfully achieved recertification as a civil trial advocate . Larson has been a NBTA member in good standing for 10 years .
Larson was also recently named among

Serkland Law Firm Names McNary Shareholder
Kasey D . McNary has been named a shareholder in the Serkland Law Firm , which has offices in Fargo and Bismarck . His practice is centered on civil litigation where he focuses on commercial , business , and collection cases , as well as real estate matters , including foreclosures .
A native of Williston , McNary graduated from Jamestown College with a bachelor ’ s degree in criminal justice and went on to earn his juris doctor degree with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law . Before joining Serkland Law Firm in 2010 , he was a law clerk for the East Central Judicial District in Fargo .
Fargo Family Lawyer Opens Satellite Office
Fargo family attorney Alisha Ankers has opened a satellite law office in Wishek . A Wishek native , Ankers graduated from Hamline University and the University of North Dakota School of Law . She is licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota and has been practicing for more than 20 years . Ankers will serve clients in Wishek and other southcentral communities in North Dakota from her satellite office . She specializes in family law areas including divorce , adoption , child custody , and wills and serves as a court-appointed Child Custody Investigator and Guardian Ad Litem .
Ankers is National Board of Trial Advocacy Certified and is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers . She has received the Great Plains Super Lawyer rating for five consecutive years . Ankers has also been active in leadership roles with the SBAND Family Law Section .
