Sportsmen’s Alliance CEO Moderates
NASCAR Green Summit 2015 Event
N
ick Pinizzotto, President and CEO of Sportsmen’s
Alliance was asked to moderate an all-star cast of
conservation leaders at the NASCAR Green Summit 2015
American Ethanol/e15 in Chicago.
“I was excited when NASCAR asked me to moderate
this forum, which included some of our industry’s top
leaders,” said Pinizzotto. “It was a great opportunity for
all of us to showcase our conservation work to NASCAR’s
gigantic fan base.”
The event brought together a representation of leaders
and influencers in environmental sustainability and
business to address the current and future state of green in
sports and beyond.
The discussion Pinizzotto moderated pertained
to wildlife conservation and sustainability. The
panel included leaders of the largest conservation
organizations in the country, among them: Ducks
Unlimited CEO Dale Hall, National Wild Turkey
Federation CEO George Thornton, Pheasants and
Quail Forever CEO Howard Vincent and Quality Deer
Management Association CEO Brian Murphy.
Given NASCAR’s millions of fans, a large portion
of whom hunt, fish and trap, the chance to connect
with the organization and spread the name and message
of Sportsmen’s Alliance was a huge opportunity.

Hijacked by anti-hunters, the term ‘trophy
hunting’ has taken on a negative connotation
in society – it’s time to take it back.
