SportsLife photographer Marissa Naylor went right into the heart of the Winnipeg
High School Football League’s Andy Currie (A) Division for a classic matchup
between the St. John’s Tigers and the Maples Marauders. It was the opening game
of the 2015 season and Maples won the game 21-14, but it was a close, spirited
affair between two up-and-coming programs. This was a wonderful example of
young men playing football for the love of the game. l
