Coach have been confirmed
as the headliners for the October 23-24, 2015 Basketball
Manitoba Super Coaches Clinic.
Joining Drew and Butch will be local
university coaches Kirby Schepp and Tanya
McKay along with former Manitoba player
and current head coach at Fraser Valley, Adam Friesen.

it will be hosting a special athlete camp in Winnipeg at
Glenlawn Collegiate, 770 St. Mary’s Road in Winnipeg.
The Drew Hanlen Pure Sweat Basketball Camp is set
for October 23-24 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm each day and
targets male and female athletes ages 12-16.

Junior Officials Basketball
Clinics Set for Fall 2015
Basketball Manitoba in partnership with MABO has
set its Fall 2015 JuniorReferee Clinic dates. The dates
include October 4 and November
7, 2015. All new and existing junior
referees ages 15+ are required to attend
one of the all-day clinics this fall. Clinics are being held
at Red River College in Winnipeg. The Junior Officials
Development Program (JODP) is designed to improve
the overall level of officiating in the Junior High / Middle
School Minor basketball leagues. Plan today and save

NBA Shooting Coach Dave Love
to Host Clinic in
Winnipeg NovEMBER

Westwood Collegiate and Zuke Hoops
have announced that they are teaming
with NBA Orlando Magic shooting
coach Dave Love to offer shooting
clinics for young Winnipeg basketball players.
Coach Love has also worked with the Cleveland Cavaliers,
Oklahoma City Thunder and Phoenix Suns in the NBA and
with players like Magic players Aaron Gordon and Elfrid
Payton, Canadians Tristan Thompson and Anthony Bennett,
and Louis Amundson.
Players will learn what each part of their body should be
doing and why they should be doing it. They will learn how
positive power affects their shot and some drills that Coach
Love does with NBA
players to develop solid
mechanics. This clinic is
for all players ages 11 and
older, boys and girls.
