First Annual Girls Baseball
Summit Hosted in Vassar

The heat and the humidity were brutal, but the energy
and the passion for the game of baseball “ruled” in
Vassar when the 16U and 14U Manitoba Provincial Girls
Baseball teams gathered for a weekend of baseball.
The community of Vassar was an excellent host for the
First Annual Girls Baseball Summit. They created lasting
memories, which will last for years to come. The girls,
along with parents and coaches, gathered from Friday,
July 24th to Sunday, July 26th to prepare for upcoming
high performance events.
The 16U Girls Baseball team plays at Canadian
Invitational National Championship in Saguenay, Quebec
from August 12th to the 17th and the 14U Girls Baseball
team will be playing at Western Canada Championships
from August 27th - 30th in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.
The two teams practiced under the direction of
“Team Toba” 16U
