Miller had a big shoes to fill for the Flames
this season and she did just fine in her
first starting role. Miller helped lead the
Flames to the sectional title game before
losing to Amherst 2-1. The highlight of
the season was a 22-save performance
against rival Williamsville South.

On a team with a lot of stars, it was
Franzone that stood out the most in
the midfield with her play for the
Legends. Only 5-foot, Franzone played
bigger than the opposing players.
Her play in the center of the midfield
dictated how the Legends would go.
