From The
Happy Spring.
Finally, the weather has
changed over the long, drea-
ry, winter into spring. Spring
sports are already in full gear
for both college and high
school - and we couldn’t be
any more happier.
Before we get into our lat-
est issue of the magazine, we
would like to welcome Mad-
die Norton on as our new di-
rector of marketing. Norton
started with us in March and
has down a great job with our
marketing and brand efforts
on instagram and twitter.
She will be graduating this
spring from the University at
Buffalo - and we can not wait
to have her continue making
our company thrive.
We also would like to wel-
come Tatyjana Scalisi as
an intern. She will be writ-
ing features for both the
magazine and our website,
sportsunionny.com.
We are jammed back with
the April issue, and we
couldn’t be any more
excited. The com-
mitment to being
the number one
feature magazine
in Western New
York continues to
be our goal, and
with stories like this
it is happening.

being a professional
dancer?
Take an inside look
at what it takes to be
a Buffalo Bandette,
while also juggling
life as a student and
other responsibilities.
This inside look will
focus on two Bandettes
and they tell us about
their day and typical
week dancing for the Buffalo
Bandits.
Our cover story will focus
on the journey of Williams-
ville South High School’s
Tatyjana Scalisi. Scalisi talks
about what it’s like realizing
her dream of playing Division
I soccer for the University at
Buffalo.
We also have stories on
Daemen and D’Youville ten-
nis along with the University
of Louisville lacrosse.
