choose. At 18, a young athlete is making a choice that will define
their athletic career.

In college, sometimes
things don’t work out, or
the coach that recruits you
leaves to take on another
job. It happens a little more
in college football. College
football coaches jump at
the first big pay day they
see.
You normally don’t see a
lot of coaching means at
others sports. When Scott
Teeter left the Canisius

couple of years ago it send
chock waves throughout
the sport.
Teeter was a Canisius
man through and through
- and many thought he
would stay there for the
long term. Teeter, howev-
er needed a new challenge.
He had built a powerhouse
at the school, and in the
MAAC, and was looking
for something else.
So, when Louisville came
calling it was no surprise
he left for a new challenge.
While he was ready to start
this new adventure, Teeter
still left the players he re-
cruited behind. One player
he left was Tessa Chad.
Chad had dominated the
MAAC during her first two
years as a Golden Griffin.
She was ready to contin-
ue that dominance when
