CRICKET CLUB
hepherds Bush CC is a club that has been going from strength to strength in
recent times and are now looking forwards to their 2017 campaign. We recently
caught up with their Cricket Chairman Will Speer to find out more about how their
preparations are coming along.
CC: How long have you been involved and what first
attracted you to the club?
WS: I have been at the club for 10 years now, having
joined back in 2006. I had just moved down to London
but was still commuting back up to the Midlands to play
in the Birmingham League. As much as I loved the M40
I decided that I should join a club closer to where I lived
and my best mate was playing at Shepherds Bush CC so
that was that … although his description of the club’s
‘social life’ was probably the key selling point!
