ilford Haven Golf Club combines a stunning parkland golf course
with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Sport in Profile Magazine
was keen to find out more about the good work that they have been doing lately
and with this in mind we caught up with their Club Secretary/Manager Amanda
Short.
Involvement
She told us, “I applied for
the position as Manager
and started work in April
2015. Soon afterwards
I was asked to take
over
as
Club
Secretary from
our
now
President. I
had worked
for another
local golf

club in the late 90’s but until starting
work for Milford Haven Golf Club had
never set foot through the door! The most
challenging part of my role is finding
enough time to complete the huge list
of tasks and the most rewarding aspect
is having face to face conversations with
members of the club.”
