FOOTBALL CLUB
It has been quite a season for Bosham FC this year as they
claimed the Southern Combination Division Two title. Their
success at first team level is a reflection of the superb set up
that they have in place and we recently caught up with their
Commercial Manager Simon Jasinski to find out more.
FF: How’s the general mood down at the
club at the moment?
SJ: Great! We’ve just won the
Southern Combination Division Two title
for the fourth time; a league the club has
dominated all season bar for the opening
12
couple of weeks. Our 2-0 win against
Roffey that sealed the title also notched
up our one hundredth league goal, and
13th clean sheet – no mean feat for a 15-
team division.
It’s a bitter-sweet victory however,
because our ground at Walton Lane
doesn’t meet Grade H grading
requirements to play at Step 6 (SCFL
Division One) – we need lights, hard
standing and a 100-seated stand. It’s
something everyone’s aware of, and
we’re pretty philosophical in continuing
to bring youth through, develop players
