Arctic Quest “This is the most fantastic sport ever because you get to share it with your best mate ... but getting a dog is a huge commitment and requires a lot of work; speak to people, learn lots, go to events and make sure it’s the right sport for you.” Connected to your dog Manufacturer of Active Dog Equipment Available in all good dog sports retailers /ArcticWolfSDE @ArcticWolf_SDE @ArcticWolf_SDE 01773 688240 | www.arcticwolf.eu Unit 6 Acre Ridge Industrial Estate, Salcombe Road, Alfreton. Derbyshire. U.K. DE55 7RG Present “The last six months have been the most challenging six months of my life. If it wasn’t for the dogs I’ve no idea where I would be. But looking forward; we have the biggest race of our career coming up with the best opportunity for a medal. Right now I’ve never been more determined, inspired, passionate about anything in my life. We have the world Championships in November. My dogs are running better than ever. I have the best equipment I can afford ... the rest lies with me. I’ve trained hard and can honestly look back and say I’ve put everything I possibly can into trying to make my dream come true. I have the best dogs in the world anyway and I don’t need a medal to tell me that, but we’re going to give it the best shot we can to become World Champions.” 2017 “At the end of Last Winter we came home with three National Championship Gold medals. My four dog team got the fastest time of the whole weekend at the British Championships. We also raced in Austria on the snow where we won the Duth National Championships. Which, being from Britain, with no snow to train on was a huge achievement for us. To say the dogs have done me proud is an understatement. The plan now is to train as much and as hard as I can in prep for Poland November World Championships (Dry land); I have the European champs in October out in Italy, then at the end of the year I turn to snow. Super excited!” Get Involved “This is the most fantastic sport ever because you get to share it with your best mate ... but getting a dog is a huge commitment and requires a lot of work; speak to people, learn lots, go to events and make sure it’s the right sport for you. I offer training sessions and there are some great clubs now around the UK and lots of races from intro level through to the elite.” Challenges/Ambitions “Life always throw us challenges, but the hardest thing in the next five years honestly is that my oldest dogs are not getting any younger and over the next five years, I will face some of the toughest days of my life - that’s the biggest down side to my sport - dogs don’t live forever and that sucks so much!” Ambitions “My ambitions are to live everyday like it’s my last; train hard, work hard and try to give my dogs back the pleasure they give me. I want to give my dogs the best life possible. I want to introduce more people to this great sport, help develop the junior side of the sport - but more importantly get more dogs out of rescue, working and having a great life. I want to enjoy my dogs more and more each day and share that with the world! Being world champion will be the icing on the cake for me!” www.sportip.biz 7
