Bracknell Bees A large number of last season, and this seasons, squads are players who have come through the junior system of the Bracknell Ice Hockey Club and this is a reflection on not just the individual players’ hard work and efforts but also that of the junior system in Bracknell within the Bracknell Ice Hockey Club. Despite all the challenges and issues over recent years and following on from last season the club is defiantly upbeat and faces all challenges head on in an effort to come out at the other side tougher, stronger and shrewder. We are currently in the “off-season” meaning that we are in the process of recruiting and announcing players for the coming 2017-18 season. A new Head Coach, Scott Spearing, has been appointed for the forthcoming campaign as the club looks to move in a new direction and ensure closer ties with the local community, the John Nike Leisuresport Ice Rink and the Bracknell Ice Hockey Club. As Head Coach Scott has recruited a squad we feel will be a competitive outfit in the league and we will soon be announcing the clubs fixtures for the approaching season as well as making regular player signing announcements as the season approaches. We have recently unveiled our new match night and season ticket prices. All of this information and the latest news on the club and its progress is available at our official website www.bracknellbeesihc.com and on our social media platforms; Twitter at www.twitter.com/bracknellbees, Facebook at www.facebook.com/bracknellbees and Instagram at www.instagram.com/thebracknellbees Looking forward to the 2017-18 season the club are keen to continue the good work of last season and to put out a competitive team each and every match night. We are looking to improve the match night experience where we can by “My wife Carol and I have been supporters of the Bracknell Bees for about 28 years and in this time have seen many highs and lows but always enjoy going to the Hive to cheer the team on. In the early years before children we also travelled away to most of the games which also included double header games in Scotland. I started my business in 2003 and worked hard to build it up to the point when I decided to become more involved with the Bracknell Bees and over the last few years have sponsored them and formed a good relationship which I hope will continue for a long time to come. We look forward to the coming season and hope to see The Bees challenging at the top end of the table. Good luck to Scott and the team.” Gary Skeggs, AVSS Ltd We are a specialist bike shop that has been in the business since 1976, so we have a great knowledge of cycles from all generations.
