Hockey CLUB
Swansea Hockey Club has a terrific record of producing talented hockey
players and plays a vital role in developing the game in Wales. Sport in Profile
Magazine recently caught up with Club Representative Danny Geach to find out
more about the good work that the club has been doing lately.
Atmosphere
He told us, “The mood
at the club is very good
at the moment; our
ladies 1st team play
in the National
League,
West
Conference
and
are doing pretty

1st team have been
promoted once in
the last two years
which leaves us three
leagues off the National
League Conference which is
where we are aiming to be.

Volunteers

our
growing numbers we

more support.

experience, just a passion for helping the
kids to have fun and learn new skills.
Hockey is a sociable sport and it’s always
a very friendly atmosphere with a warm
welcome for anyone that comes along.”
Present
“We’re currently running a summer
league for the adults on a Monday
evening which we have never done
before. We also offer a summer kids
camp every Wednesday. We brought
