We are also looking at increasing our sponsorship opportunities and looking at how we can offer more benefits to the clubs members.” Youth “Youth development is absolutely critical to any club and ours is no different. We are currently investing money into schools coaching which I think shows how important this is to the club. If we do not get youth players coming through then the club is going to struggle in the future.” Community “I would definitely consider our club to be a community club, we actually won the Active Sports Community Club of the Year for Braintree last year. We offer a range of different hockey opportunities from League Hockey, to Get Back Into Hockey, to Rush Hockey, to disability hockey. We hope this offers a broad spectrum that anyone in the local community who wishes to get involved with or back involved with the sport can find the right option for them. We also have a football team who use the facilities and as mentioned above we are looking at how we can offer other opportunities to people in the local area to keep fit.” Challenges “In the next 5 years I think our challenges will be the same
