Clonakilty Blackpudding Company is the leading
blackpudding in Ireland and supplies a full range of
breakfast meats including sausages and rashers. Clonakilty
blackpudding is now available in the UK, mainland Europe,
UAE and Australia.
John Twomey, Commercial Manager, took the time to tell
us more about the positive association that they have with
Father Murphy’s Ladies. He told us, “We have a genuine
commitment to quality and to our customers.
“We have been involved with Father Murphy’s Ladies since
2011. We saw a club with a strong Irish tradition that was
made up of genuine and committed individuals which closely
matched our values.
“As we are based in Ireland it can be difficult to attend
matches but we try and attend any time we are in the UK. We
are very proud to support a team that is family orientated,
welcoming and successful.
“Larry in particular has been a great brand ambassador for
us and has helped us out on numerous occasions – we are
very grateful for this. The partnership also highlights our
commitment to the UK market and the link with Ireland. We
wish continued success to Father O Leary’s and hope to

r. Murphy’s Ladies GAA Club are a fine example of
a club playing an important role in the community
by providing people with an opportunity to get
involved in the sport. Since first being established
they have put together a history of which they have
every right to be proud.
Perhaps their most successful
period came when they
managed to win three straight
Senior
Championships
between 2007 and 2009. This
was a superb achievement

the club and they were also
crowned All Britain Champions
