2015
“The atmosphere is very good at the moment! They are a great
team to work with and everybody, including myself, has learned
so much. We are currently in the middle of a five week off-season
but we ended the season very well in July and I know the team is
already itching to get back to training.
The season gets underway again in September and the Premier
League team will be back in training in the next few weeks.
Premier League survival is our main priority again though we will
try to kick on and improve on our 7th place finish from last season.
We have already signed one new player from one of the top
teams in the country and I am hoping to add at least one more in
the coming weeks. We will also be conducting a large recruitment
drive to grow our junior teams with a view to having squads
competing regionally in every possible age group by the 2016/17
season.”
Community
“We are absolutely a community club. The club is extremely well
run both in terms of organisational and financial requirements
and everyone gets involved in some aspect of running the club
other than playing or coaching.
We have a committee that is made up of current and
ex-players, parents, coaches and referees. We have
frequent social events and these are done for the
whole club rather than individual playing age
groups. For example, the whole club is going
go-karting in September for a pre-season
get-together.”
