astbourne Speedway began a new era when the 2015 season began,
with a new promoting team at the helm. The club moved from the
high-cost Elite League to the home-grown National League and
immediately found success.
As the club entered the final two months
of the season, they had reached the finals
of two cup competitions – the National
Trophy and the KO Cup. They were
also still challenging to win the National
League. Eastbourne Speedway is now
run by Martin Dugard and his son,
Connor.
Martin was a highly successful
speedway rider and became the first
Englishman to win the British Speedway
GP. He and Connor announced they had
