radford autograss CLUB FOLLOW US ONLINE TWITTER.COM/SPORT_IP Mick Sumners, who is vice chairman, is leading the men’s points within the club. He has made it to the men’s national championships over the last few years. He recently took the time to speak with Sport in Profile Magazine, saying, “I’ve been involved in the map league since 1991, joining Radford in 1994. I have enjoyed being a club member helping out where I could and last year was elected as vice chairman to which I have enjoyed helping with the other members pulling together and putting on some good race meetings. 2014 was my most successful year to date, building a new car which saw me finish 4th at the nationals and narrowly missing out on the UKAC title for my class. I think the key to my success is the enthusiasm to improve on the previous year and support from my family and friends. My plans for 2015 are to improve on last year’s results if possible and to strive to keep Radford Autograss Club a great club to be a member of.” 52 Issue 08
