Mark Huxtable from Nuaire has been
Sponsoring the Club for over 10 years now and is
proud of his affiliation with Newport Squash Club.
Mark’s sporting life started out as a rugby player for
Welsh side Seven Sisters RFC, and then Coventry
and Neath RFC and is now a keen Squash player.
Mark’s son Samuel excelled at the sport under
the guidance of Greg Tippings and represented
Wales on the International stage at 2 World
Championships in Geneva and Ecuador, and
won the silver medal in 2 European Team
Championships at U17 and U19 level.
Newport Squash Rackets Club has developed
many international players over the years at
junior, senior and masters level, currently being
represented at U15, U17, U19, Over 35, O40, O50,
O55 and even the over 70 age group.
The club coach Greg Tippings was himself on
the World PSA Tour for 5 years, followed by Rob
Sutherland. Today both David Haley and his
younger sister Jenny are in the early stages of their
professional squash career having represented
Wales at all junior age levels and now senior level.
