FITNESS HIKING FOR BEGINNERS Hiking is a great way to unwind from the day-to-day stresses of life and revitalized your body as you connect to nature. Hiking doesn’t call for any special skills; you just need to be able to walk and have a sense of direction. As a beginner, start at a slow pace and gradually work up to trails with hills or uneven terrain. It’s best to have a partner or group to help navigate and assist if you get hurt. As your skill level improves, you’ll feel more comfortable going solo. Benefits of Hiking Hiking is a fantastic way to burn calories, build muscles and lower your risk of heart disease.
