After living and traveling across 3 continents(Asia,Continental Europe and North America) and covering over 20 countries,I have come to realize that cultures may vary but the core of us all remains the same.

We are all spiritual beings embarking on a human journey!

Seeking love and providing service/value is the essence of our being.

Being born and raised in India to a family with a rich heritage and cultural values, my little brain thought that the whole world was living the way I was, until I got married and my husband’s job took us to places all over the world (which was the best part of our lives!!).

The word freedom didn’t mean anything to me until I stepped out of my comfort zone and actually started living in different countries for a period of 6 years, before finally moving to USA.

In India I had the freedom to be whoever I wanted to be.

Then when we moved to London I was still able to follow my career path as a Fashion apparel designer for high street brands like Zara, H&M, River Island, etc.

Then came the opportunity to move to Switzerland for 2 years, where I was a freelance design/consultant for Esprit.

Soon I was traveling to Paris and exhibiting at Pret-a-Porterfor a company that I had founded with a friend back in India.

I felt as if life would could never get any

better as every weekend we would

wake up and decide that today we would drive a few hours from where we lived(Zurich)and reach to a different country all together and learn about their culture and lifestyle.

This was starting to define the word freedom to me.

I could look at the various people living all over the world and really see how, who I wanted to be.

All this exposure was really helping me evolve as a human and soon as a spiritual being.

When we moved to North America I was on a dependent visa where I wasn’t able to work initially, and we decided to use this as an opportunity to have our 2nd child till I can get back to work again (which could have taken a few years, due to the work authorization rules in USA).

When my baby girl was born and I looked at her for the very first time, a spark ignited inside of me to become a better role model.

I decided to embark on my journey of self-realization-To find out:

Who am I really?

Why am I here?

What am I meant to do?

and most importantly, How will I do that?

I started from a state of confusion and among other things, joined a women’s networking group called BIG!
