W hat a couple of months it’s been, the Gosford preview of the stage show was a hoot and thanks to those in the crowd who didn’t boo at the first night nerves type errors! We then packed our boardies and jumped on the plane to Darwin for more mediumship love and laughter. Check out our YouTube channel if you want to see some of the hilarity that has been occurring since we started previewing the show! Click on our logo (right) if you want to see some YouTube footage of the fun we had. We took a peek beyond the veil of ghost-hunting as a business and what a huge business that is! From Edinburgh to Emerald there are ghost tours, hauntings and all sorts of other tourist activities we can join in with the hope of seeing a spectre or encountering some ectoplasm. But what if we don’t? Or worse, what if we actually do!!! Another of our journalists took a rather disturbing look in particular at a Facebook online-quasi magazine that talks about cures for cancer and all other sorts of claims that are published under the heading of ‘Spiritual.’ We wonder out loud if we are being dragged off on a tangent by the desperate search for a way to cure the incurable. Will we truly believe anything no matter how extreme it sounds? JJ Charbonier’s book on reasons to believe in the afterlife proved very interesting around the office as more and more medical doctors are becoming accepting of life after death, either through their own experience or research. Charbonier is an anaesthetist and so his words on the subject of the unconscious body seem to fit in rather well with the ‘What’s it like to be Dead’ article in this issue. Cavorting around the internet we found lots of the bizarre, the believable and the “What on earth...” to share with you this issue too.
