Halie's is starting to become a household name in the entertainment industry. You've seen her in the music videos with the likes of Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Bow Wow, Jamie Foxx, and more. You've also seen her (Heather) on VH1's Ultimate Catch with Chad Ochocinco. And if you were paying attention recently, you saw her get her nomination one of the finalists for XXL's 2010 Eye Candy of the Year. We had a chance to talk with Halie about her nomination and more.
thanks for taking the time to talk with us Halie. Most recently, you were on VH1's The Ultimate Catch with Chad Ochocinco. What was that experience like for you?
The show was very interesting. It was fun but also very tiring the whole process of doing the show and dealing with all the fake girls in the house. I am happy I did the show though it was a great learning experience!
The staff of XXL Magazine asked the question "Who Should Be the XXL 2010 Eye Candy of the Year?" and you were nominated as one of eight candidates. What would it mean to you to have the title of XXL's 2010 Eye Candy of the Year on your resume?
Being nominated as one of the eight girls is more of a blessing then I ever imagined! I was so honored to do XXL and even the thought of being eyecandy of the year wod be an amazing blessing, I encourage everyone to vote and I appreciate those voting for me. I work very hard and continue to Better myself everyday!
How did you first get your start in the urban modeling industry?
When I moved to Miami four years ago I really wanted to model but did not think it was possible because of all the beautiful girls out here modeling. It became more then just taking pictures to me, I made it my job n passion to hustle my way to the top! I want to be one of the best!
