ALLINA HEALTH HELENE HOULE MEDICAL CENTER The Allina Health Helene Houle Medical Center was planned for Vadnais Heights when the decision was made to close the Allina Health White Bear Lake Clinic . “ We recognized a need to expand our services in the area ,” said Casi Roethler , Allina Health Vadnais Heights Clinic Manager . “ Vadnais Heights and the surrounding communities are really growing and we decided we needed more of a presence in the community for preventative health . The location was perfect and we couldn ’ t be happier with the decision .” Since opening , the clinic has been able to do just that , seeing more than 100 new patients each month and bringing additional specialties to the clinic each year .
The 56,000 square foot building is named in honor of Helen Houle , a longtime philanthropist , St . Paul businesswoman and wife of philanthropist John Nasseff . It is managed by the Davis Group and houses other medical providers such as Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute , The Urgency Room and Metro Dental . The clinic serves patients of all ages , with an emphasis on preventive medicine and overall health and wellness . It also provides a variety of specialty health services such as mental health , audiology , general surgery , ENT , urology , spine care and podiatry .
“ We are just so proud to be a part of this community . We really aspire for this to truly be a hometown clinic . We want patients to leave satisfied , healthy and happy to return should the need arise . We want great patient outcomes ,” said Roethler . Their recent quality and patient experience survey scores show that they are doing just that as patients like the care and surroundings . The décor is modern , clean , comforting and has a unique artistic flair . In 2016 , the clinic also expanded their appointment availability in the early mornings and evenings , to allow for visit times that can fit into virtually any schedule .
