Fire-fighting training
builds team chemistry
Firefighters and rescue personnel spend dozens of hours training each year,
learning skills for extinguishing fires or rescuing a victim in a vehicle accident. The training sessions build team chemistry as firefighters and emergency medical services personnel depend on each other when seconds
count in a rescue situation. These scenes were at training sessions in Three
Lakes (above and bottom right), where firefighters practiced their vehicle extrication techniques, and Arbor Vitae (right and below), where firefighters
tested an engine-mounted watergun and water drafting equipment.
