Greetings and a warm welcome to our very first issue of Special Miracles Magazine!
I couldn’t be more excited to have made it to this point. I receive so many heartwarming and inspirational stories every week and it is my pleasure to share some with you in every issue. For now, this is a digital magazine only, however, with time and with the help of future Sponsors and Advertisers I do hope to have it available in print as well.
Additionally, I know that with time, every upcoming issue will get bigger and better. This is a new venture for me, (as most of you may already know).
Since my son Colton was born and diagnosed with Down syndrome, every day has been an inspiration and in the last 16 months since his birth my passion for advocacy has gotten stronger and stronger.
My mission and goal is to provide insight and honest down-to-earth information about the joys and/or struggles we as parents face when raising a child with Down syndrome. I want to bring your stories out into the greater world with the hope of educating anyone who might come across Special Miracles while simultaneously easing a new parent’s fears or misgivings of their own.
If you have a story to share or would like to become a contributor I would love
to hear from you. Also, I have included a Feedback page towards the end, so feel
free to leave me your comments or thoughts or ask questions.
