About Aaden

Aaden is the youngest of 6 children and he is "EXACTLY like all his other siblings", says his mother Trish. "He just reaches his milestones at a little later pace."

"All children have special gifts" she adds, "Aaden is able to read how people feel. He tends to cling to the people that need him the most."

His family had a dear friend that was diagnosed with cancer and every time he would come visit, Aaden would sit on his lap or by his side, constantly giving him love and comfort.

Trish explains "Wether you are hurting physically or mentally, Aaden will be there to comfort you."

Years ago, she thought of an analogy to best explain to people what it is like to have a child with Down syndrome, she says "It is like going on a road trip and taking the scenic route. It might take a little longer to get to your destination but boy is it beautiful!"
