EAT MORE OMEGA 3 & 6

1

Omega 3 and 6 are thought to reduce the risk of heart disease, promote healthy skin they also help alongside exercise to lower levels of blood fat and improve levels of good cholesterol and aid brain function which helps us process thought patterns and feel more levelled. Eating some kind of oily fish and or some good green leafy vegetables every, or every other day can really help but if you are not getting enough a good supplement is a fantastic idea to boost your levels.

EAT MORE NUTS AND SEEDS

2

Nuts and seeds are rich in B vitamins, iron, magnesium, zinc and protein and may help lower feelings of anxiety. Something unfortunately in our modern day lives is all too common and often debilitating. Seeds and nuts are also great for vegetarians who need a good source of protein without eating meat. Enjoy sprinkled on your porridge or blended into an energy ball.

EAT LESS SUGAR

3

Regulating your blood sugar so you don’t have huge spikes and troughs throughout the day, which leave you feeling exhausted. One way we can do that is reducing our carbohydrate intake and increasing

our vegetables and fibre intake, which will help

you feel you have sustained

energy. Diabetes is at

an all time high

so it has never been more important to take a look at what we are snacking on and what our daily meals are made up of. Sugary

snacks & fizzy drinks

are real culprits or maybe

you can look at how much

sugar you add to your drinks. By eating good carbs such as wholemeal options and having more fibre in your diet will help you feel you have more sustained energy.
