It Takes a Village…………..
To Build a Village
The Sparta Downtown Cooperative and the Kriskindlmarkt Committee are expanding the venue
for Christmas 2018 by adding up to five collapsible booths on the Water Street Bridge plaza
area. Our goal is to raise $7500 to support this.
To support this effort financially, we will be building a Christmas Village scene of miniature
market booths as shown above (right), which resemble the booths in Mueller Square. The
miniatures measure six inches tall. Each booth will bear the name of an individual or business
name in exchange for a minimum $25-dollar sponsorship for 2018.
The mini-booths will be used as a primary feature in a storefront decoration that will highlight
all the sponsored booths. We hope that 100 or more booths will provide the foundation for a
very curious, community-oriented display.
