wouldn’t even know the caves
were there until you spot
the small entrance.

the mine cart (which looked more
like a trundling box on wheels) took
mining equipment into the caves and
brought rocks out.
Bill, who enjoys exploring
caves, took me on a
walking tour. It was very
exciting going down into
the caves, but you need
strong shoes. The path
down had lines on it that
were actually a mini
railway track. I gasped
when I saw how steep
the line was – it plunged
far down into the mine
like a roller-coaster
