The Minotaur
SPARK reader Rosie has read The Odyssey, which is
a story written almost 3,000 years ago in Ancient
Greece. She was fascinated by all the imaginative
creatures, and wanted to find out more about
Greek mythology. In the legend of the Minotaur she
liked the way Theseus was so brave and that the
story was based upon a castle hiding a dark secret.
She wanted to find out what truth there was in the
story of Theseus killing the Minotaur (in a maze
called the Labyrinth), and sent us these thoughts.
