Mia’s Riding Adventure is
completely different. It’s a
mini rollercoaster ride that
recreates the sensation of
galloping on a horse with
the wind in your hair – but
there’s weightlessness too!
This means you sometimes
feel that you weigh very
little, like a bird. You sit on
your “horse” which is on
a circular platform. This
platform swoops upwards
and downwards along a
high track, starting slowly
then increasing speed. The
weightlessness sensation
happens after you reach the
highest point. During the
next second the platform
and your horse seem to fall
away from you, even though
you stay holding on to them.
This makes it feel that your
normal weight has become
a lot less. You could almost
imagine letting go and
flying, but that doesn’t
happen in real life because
the rides are safe.

Pirate Falls takes you on
a swashbuckling journey
on the high seas, past
pirate ships hunting for
treasure. It’s a type of
log flume ride, meaning
that the boats you sit in
are shaped to resemble
logs. Pumps push
30,000 litres of water
along the ride then
comes the surprise… the
10 metre drop, which
means a huge splash at
the bottom and getting
soaking wet!
