Choose an area of your
garden which has
sunlight. With your adult
helper, dig some soil in
the garden. Then use the
stick to write your name
in the soil. Or if you
prefer, draw a picture.

Then slowly and carefully
sprinkle the grass seeds
into the lines you made
with your stick. Pick up any
that land outside the lines.
Cover with a fi ne layer of
soil. Water it straight away,
and then every day after
that. In a few weeks you
should see your name or
drawing come up into grass.
