BRILLIANT BOOKS! CONTINUED Esio Trot This story is about a man called Mr Hoppy who swaps tortoises with Mrs Silver’s pet tortoise, Alfie. Mr Hoppy is a shy man who insists on marrying Mrs Silver and the only way he knows how to is by making her think her tortoise grew, by swapping it with a bigger tortoise. This book tells children not to lie or trick people and to always tell the truth and explain your feelings. I would recommend that all ages from four and a half year old should read it. I liked reading the book, especially how it described all the characters.
