If you think it’s hard keeping your bedroom tidy, imagine what it must be like to keep 1,000 rooms at Windsor Castle looking good. Do you think you could live in a castle with so many? If you’re not sure, then there’s a surprise house inside the castle that you might just wish you did live in. It’s called Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House. It is a very grand house which has all kinds of items in it that actually work, including taps with running water, a fl ushing toilet and lifts! There are even teeny-weeny books and pets too. It’s a fl ag used to tell visitors that the Queen is at home. Her Royal Standard will fl y on April 21st, when she turns 91! Even at that age Her Majesty will have work to do which includes reading letters that Sparklers like you write to her! Queen Mary’s dolls’ house 12 SPARK Two very special large dolls wait for you to admire them too. Their names are France and Marianne and were a gift from the country of France. They were played with by the Queen and her sister Princess Margaret when they were girls. France and Marianne come from Paris and have a very fashionable wardrobe! They have smart dresses, gloves, 22 pairs of shoes and even a blue racing car.
