REMEMBER THAT THE HAPPIEST PEOPLE ARE NOT
THOSE GETTING MORE
BUT THOSE GIVING MORE!
The joy of giving or sharing is unique as well as some-
thing indescribable. But what gives you more happi-
ness, the act of giving or the process of receiving or
accepting a gift? This question can be aptly an-
swered by only those who have experienced both. It
reminds me of a similar question ‘Is fire or ice ex-
ceptional?’
It is indeed a prodigious thing to be gifted with a sur-
prise present from someone. It makes the bond be-
tween the two stronger and longer. But, have you ever
thought of the pleasure of giving, the joy of helping someone who is in
need or the poor and the destitute? The real joy or happiness of giving
is not merely confined to material contributions.
As a student, there are different ways in which you can experience this
satisfaction. Be a part of the campaigns to help the people around you.
Spread the message, contribute, collect and distribute. Apart from these,
each instance you become a law abiding citizen, you make the nation
happy and gratified. By being a loving and obedient offspring, you
make your parents satisfied and content. When you are a diligent
learner your teachers remember you the most.
Make a note of these very small great things. Indeed, there will be a day
in your diary page which abounds in innumerable worth mentioning
things.
GOOD PEOPLE ARE LIKE CANDLES; THEY BURN
THEMSELVES UP TO GIVE OTHERS LIGHT!
