along the Costa Del Sol. Ireland still loved Boland , and he, together with his wife Wendy, regularly appeared in the national press and glossy magazines over there.
It was after VIP Magazine (Ireland 's equivalent to OK and Hello Mags) sent a crew to Marbella to do feature on Maurice that he decided to launch his own celebrity magazine. He called it H! Society and within a short time it became a 'must to be seen in and to be seen with' magazine. The pages were filled with the 'whose who in society' both those that lived in Marbella and Celebrities holidaying in the area.
During this time, Maurice began broadcasting 'The Boland Talk Show' live from places such as Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Barbados, St Lucia, Canada, London and his native Dublin. May 2004 saw Maurice’s dreams come true when he launched his own radio station REMfm (now rebranded as Talk Radio Europe). After so many years on radio in Spain he knew exactly what his audience wanted and lined up the most impressive array of English presenters Spain had to offer.
The Boland show is now syndicated going out presently live in spain on Radio Heartfm 88.5fm or listen live on www.heartfmspain.com or in Ireland listen live on www.radioleinster.com 2-4pm Spain and 1-3pm Ireland and the UK.
The Maurice Boland Show is a unique blend of irreverent humour, celebrity interviews and human interest stories from around the globe and is radio at its most original and stimulating. All this within 16 Months!!! Maurice is a tireless charity worker chairing his own ‘Raise The Roof Foundation’ Raising Millions of Euros for the Cancer Care Hospice ‘Cudeca’. He was the founder of Varity Club in Spain he also works for Age For Concern, The Rees Daniels Fund etc. He is also The Vice President of Marbella Jewish Community.
He lives with his wife in a magnificent home nestled in the hills over looking Marbella . They have three sons Nicholas, Justin ,both of whom commute between Marbella and Bulgaria where they run a very successful property company and Daniel the baby ( 24) who has followed his dad into showbiz by recording music and presenting TV shows.

Maurice resigned from radio in September 2010 and returned in June 2011 his show is syndicated by iTalk Europe both in Spain and Ireland.
Maurice has just been named among the top Ex Pat’s 100 most important people in Andalucía along with Washington Irving and Prince Alfonso Hohenlohe.

Maurice Boland Successful radio presenter and proprietor, former drummer, ex-nightclub tycoon, entrepreneur, philanthropist and all round man about town is one year younger and rumour has it that he is turning 60 this week. Michel and Steven Euesden and all of the staff at the Euro Weekly News would like to wish him a happy birthday and raise a glass to his health, hoping that next year may be even more fantastic than last.
