BAREFOOT & RAW

6

Health and fitness have long been an important part of my life. Coming from a family where both parents ran competitively and growing up in the 70s in a large family meant that the outdoors was my playground and as children we were always on the go and active.

This passion followed me into my adult life and after the many twists and turns that life has a habit of leading us on I took it and used it to create a business around health and how to incoporate it into your lifestyle.

For many years I ran a successful Personal Fitness business in Norfolk back in the UK utlilising the many sleepy lanes and fields in which to train my clients (when it wasn’t raining that is!).

However, a change of pace and a move to Southern Spain meant that I now had time to re-evaluate how I wanted to reach people and what my message was.

Ex animal pericula vim, pro prima blandit constituto et. Veritus necessitatibus ut mel, pro soleat percipit dissentiet eu, usu veri iudico scripta no. Admodum mnesarchum ad has.

reach people and what my message was.

A raw foodie of some 7 years I had now also added yoga teaching to my resume and so I started to look around for places in which I could pull together all my passions and run retreats and workshops from.

A chance meeting with ‘someone who knew someone who was looking to do something’ lead me to Family Siesta and the rest as they say is history.

Mona and I have spent the last few months meeting with like minded people and building up a network that we can call upon to help us deliver our message of healthy living in the best way possible.

From September onwards I will be teaching weekly yoga classes for both adults and children as well as Saturday morning circuit classes. There will also be weekly weight loss groups that focus not only on healthy eating but also on the emotional side of losing weight. Overcoming mental blocks to eating a healthier diet and taking regular exercise is a major component of being successful long term.

At the end of September Mona and I will be running our first Raw Bootcamp :-

Raw Exercise, Raw Food, RAWking Results.

A full week combining daily exercise of kickboxing, metabolic training, circuit training, running and yoga supported by healthy nutritious raw and cooked vegan food. A programme of positive thinking, goal setting and addressing cravings and emotional blocks plays an integral part, which together with plenty of relaxation time gives our clients the perfect atmosphere in which to soak up all the information.
