A very big and warm welcome to the very FIRST ISSUE of SpainLINKED online magazine!!
With so many publications going about along the coasts of Spain people would think it a little crazy to just do an online magazine instead of a proper printed one. It would , I must admit, have been amazing to bring out a printed magazine but obviously when a new project starts up you either need to have quite a lot of capital behind you or have to start charging for adverts that are placed within it and begin paying staff to edit and finally a printer to get enough copies to cover the whole of Spain, in our case.
Because that’s what we are - we are a website with its main feature of an online magazine basically covering the whole of Spain hence the name SpainLINKED – linking people in Spain.
We are here for the businesses, the expats and the tourists and eventually – even though our home coast is the Costa del Sol – we will be including all of the coastal regions in Spain.

Yeah!! But WHY an online magazine? I hear you say! For various reasons.
With the technology as it is today more and more people have access to internet whether it be on a home computer, a mobile phone, tablet or internet tv, more and more people can now get online.
Reason two would probably cost, as I said before the cost is very much less – I have edited the online magazine alone with the help of some great articles written by others – credited after my intro – at very little cost giving businesses the chance to send us their business ad and we include them in this very first issue of SpainLINKED online magazine FREE of charge so can show what we can do, get the magazine out there, get better known over time and progress.
The final reason is that with this layout, ads and articles can be edited and changed easily before publishing, you can add adverts that can be linked directly to websites, facebook pages, blogs and have emails sent off to the person who is advertising. If an advert is advertising a website, blog or facebook page then you can hover over the ad, it will change colour and when you click a link opens up in a new window so you view that site AND continue reading the magazine without haven’t to back click!! Some links appear as text, if you see a text link and it is BOXED IN like here >>>> www.spainlinked.com
you can hover over it, the box lights up and when you click within the box you will be sent to that link, facebook page, blog or if it is an email address your mail will be setup to send an email to that place.
Another cool thing is that you can add youtube video to the pages so you can see someones visual video ad, video introduction, song or interview. Please note that when you are viewing the online magazine and there is a video on the page any video will disappear if you hover your mouse or finger – if your on a touch pad- by moving the arrow to the side of the magazine you can view the page properly.
