In loving memory of a dear husband, beloved father and grandfather. We miss you every day, but
our hearts are filled with memories of the happy times we shared together, full of fun, laughter
and joy.
You and Mum were a team for us all to aspire to. It feels like it was just yesterday that you would
make sure our clothes were ironed, and that we ate, did our homework and went to bed on time.
You were always so open hearted and welcoming to everyone who entered your home, be it family,
friends, or new acquaintances.
You always had a loving smile for your children and grandchildren, and we will never forget the
warmth in your voice when you would say “Hello my son”, or “grandson”. It has been ten years
since you have left us, but when we gather to see Mum, your seat will always be referred to by the
grandchildren as “Dada’s” or “Bapa’s chair”. Your wisdom and all you have taught us is our guide as
we go through life. May your soul rest in eternal peace, our dearest Dad.
